  • Definition: Reconciliation is the restoration of the relationship between God and humanity, which was broken by sin, through the work of Jesus Christ.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:18-19: « All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. »
  • Romans 5:10: « For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! »
  • Explanation: Reconciliation is an essential aspect of Jesus’ mission. Through his death and resurrection, Christ restores peace between God and humanity, allowing for a renewed and eternal relationship with Him.
